Meeting of the Council of Judges of the Republic of Tatarstan
Justice Minister Rustem Zagidullin and Deputy Minister Nadezhda Ragozina took part in a meeting of the Council of Judges of the Republic of Tatarstan. Special attention was paid at the meeting to the staffing of the offices of magistrates of the republic.
Speaking with the report, the minister said that in 2023 765 thousand cases were considered, which is 72% of the total number of cases considered by courts of general jurisdiction. The work of magistrates is provided by their offices, the staff of which is 735 units, of which 721 are state civil servants of the Republic of Tatarstan. Staff turnover in 2023 was 29%.
The issue of providing qualified personnel for magistrates' offices and reducing staff turnover among staff members is under constant control. The Ministry has established regular cooperation with employment centers in cities and municipal districts of the republic, as well as with educational institutions. Meetings are held with university students, students undergo industrial and pre-graduate practice at the judicial precincts of magistrates of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Ministry of Justice will continue to work to reduce the problem of staff shortages.
