A new appointment has been made at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan

From August 12, 2024, Ilya Aleksandrovich Gomzik was appointed First Deputy Minister of Justice. The corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.

In his new position, he will be responsible for legal expertise and rule-making activities, registration of regulatory legal acts, as well as organizing the provision of free legal assistance to residents of the republic.

Ilya Gomzik has a higher education, graduated from the Kazan State University named V.I. Ulyanov-Lenin, specializing in Jurisprudence. He began his career in 2004 as a first-category specialist in the legislative work department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Having worked in the Ministry of Justice for seven years and having risen to the position of deputy head of the department, Ilya Aleksandrovich worked in the State Legal Administration of the President (Rais) of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2011, and since 2021 he held the position of deputy head.
