9 October 2024, Wednesday

At a meeting of the State Council of the seventh convocation, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustem Zagidullin, made a report on the organization of interaction between the Ministry of Justice and local governments in order to provide them with legal support.

The Minister emphasized the importance of municipal rule-making, since the implementation of the rights of citizens and organizations depends on the quality of municipal acts. One of the main information resources in this area is the register of municipal regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is maintained by the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan.

In the Volga Federal District, Tatarstan ranks first in the number of acts included in the register. «This is the result of the joint work of the Ministry of Justice and local governments», - the Minister emphasized.

Every year, more than 30 thousand municipal acts are entered into the register; 25,703 were included in the first 9 months of this year. In total, the register contains more than 307 thousand acts of local governments of the republic.

Rustem Zagidullin also noted that municipal acts are entered into the register by simultaneous publication on the Official Portal of Legal Information of the Republic of Tatarstan. In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan, acts are published on the Official Portal in the two state languages of the republic.

According to the minister, in recent years it has been possible to achieve 100% publication of municipal acts in the Tatar language. This was facilitated by the introduction of the position of translators to the staff of municipalities.

However, the minister drew attention to the fact that the work on translating previously adopted acts into the Tatar language remains unfinished.
