Mukharryam Ibyatov: In Tatarstan, all regulatory legal acts are published in two state languages
The republic has created all the conditions for the timely translation of regulatory legal acts and their publication. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Mukharryam Ibyatov in an interview with the program «On Guard of the Language» on the Russia 1 TV channel.
The Deputy Minister spoke in detail about the work carried out in this area. In particular, he noted that the Official Portal of Legal Information of the Republic of Tatarstan has been operating since 2013.
«More than 40,000 regulatory legal acts are developed in the republic every year. These are laws of the Republic of Tatarstan, decrees and orders of the Rais, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers, orders of the republican executive bodies, as well as municipal acts», - Ibyatov emphasized.
In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan, all republican and municipal acts are published on the Official Portal in the two state languages of the Republic of Tatarstan. As Mukharryam Mansurovich noted, such publication is free of charge.
Since 2019, positions of translators have been introduced in the executive committees, which has made it possible to ensure bilingualism more efficiently. To improve the qualifications of translators, special advanced training courses are held at the Higher School of Public and Municipal Administration.
A significant result was achieved during the period from 2020 to 2023: regulatory legal acts at all levels were published in both Russian and Tatar languages.
