The Public Council under the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan discussed changes in the system of free legal assistance
Today, the second meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan this year was held, in which the Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin took part.
At the meeting, Victoria Leonidova, responsible for work on the prevention of corruption and other offenses in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a report on the provision of information on income, property and property obligations for 2024 by civil servants of the ministry.
In addition, members of the Public Council discussed amendments to the Procedure for remuneration of lawyers providing citizens with free legal aassistance within the framework of the state system of free legal assistance. As noted by the head of the department for the organization of the provision of free legal assistance and planning Yaroslav Shvets, the changes are due to the fact that the list of categories of citizens entitled to receive free legal assistance has been supplemented by parents with many children who have three or more children, until the eldest child reaches 18 years of age or 23 years of age if he or she is studying full-time in an educational organization.
