Over 1,200 residents of Tatarstan received free legal assistance in the first quarter of 2025
The implementation of the republican law on the provision of free legal assistance in Tatarstan was discussed today at a meeting of the State Council Committee of the Republic on Law and Order. The First Deputy Minister of Justice Ilya Gomzik spoke on the control issue.
Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov has repeatedly said that today one of the priority areas of work in the republic is the support of participants of the SMO and their family members.
«In the first quarter of 2025, free legal assistance was provided to 1,249 citizens, including 532 military personnel and their relatives», - Ilya Aleksandrovich said.
In general, as the First Deputy Minister noted, positive dynamics are observed in the sphere of providing free legal assistance in the Republic of Tatarstan. «For example, according to the results of 2023, free legal assistance was provided to 2,548 citizens in the Republic of Tatarstan, in 2024 – 4,164, which amounted to an increase of 63%», - he concluded.
