The Rais of Tatarstan visited the Yelabuga district on a working visit
The day before, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov made a working visit to the Yelabuga district, where he got acquainted with the implementation of federal and republican programs. He was accompanied on the visit by the Minister of Justice of the Republic, Rustem Zagidullin.
As part of the busy program, the delegation visited a number of key sites, paying special attention to the historical part of Yelabuga. One of the significant points of the route was the renovated memorial complex on Memory Square. The Rais laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and met with veterans of the special military operation, who today make a significant contribution to maintaining public order by participating in the work of the voluntary people's squad.
It is worth noting that the Complex is located on Memory Square. The first memorial on this site was opened back in 1970. The square was reconstructed for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Great Victory. The opening of the memorial took place on May 9, 1995.
