Today, a ceremonial assembly dedicated to the Day of Knowledge was held at Yelabuga Secondary School № 8, during which it was officially announced that the educational institution had been named after Hero of Russia Stanislav Vladimirovich Bolshakov. The event was held with the participation of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin.
During the ceremonial assembly, the Minister of Justice of the Republic Rustem Zagidullin noted the special importance of this event. According to the minister, the life of the Hero is an example of selfless service to the Fatherland. During his 20-year military career, Stanislav Vladimirovich took part in three military missions of Russia: the historic operation to return Crimea, the fight against international terrorism on Syrian soil, and the protection of the civilian population of Donbass.
Rustem Zagidullin quoted the words of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who repeatedly noted: «In our difficult times, it is especially important for young people to know their heroes - those who stood up to defend the Motherland without hesitation, who selflessly and courageously fulfilled their military duty. Our sacred duty is to preserve the bright memory of all our heroes, to pass on to the next generations the ideals of honor, dignity and faithful service to the Fatherland».
The Minister added that naming the school after Stanislav Bolshakov will not only perpetuate the memory of the hero of Russia, but also a symbol of courage and patriotism for many generations of Tatarstan residents.
At the event, Rustem Zagidullin also read out an address by the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, dedicated to the celebration of Knowledge Day. The message spoke about the importance of this holiday and the achievements of Tatarstan in the field of education. Rais noted that in the new academic year, about 50 thousand first-graders will open their school doors, and the republic continues to actively build modern educational institutions and introduce innovative teaching methods.
At the end of the event, the minister congratulated the teaching staff, parents and students on Knowledge Day and the beginning of the new academic year, wishing them success in the educational process and worthy bearing of the high title of the school named in honor of the Hero of Russia.
