Application period opens in Tatarstan for the Head of the Republic Award for contributions to the development of civil society

The Committee for Awarding the Prize of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan for Contributions to the Development of Civil Society Institutions has begun accepting applications for the award. The submission period opened on September 1 and will run through October 5, 2026, inclusive.

The award is granted to citizens of the Russian Federation and socially oriented non-profit organizations for activities and projects that have received public recognition and made a significant contribution to the development of the non-profit sector. Scientific research in the field of civil society, distinguished by a high level of professionalism, novelty, and originality, is also evaluated. Special recognition is given for significant long-term personal contributions to the development of civil society institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Nominees may be put forward by non-profit organizations registered in the republic, as well as by public councils under republican executive authorities and public councils established in the municipalities of Tatarstan.

To participate, the following set of documents must be submitted to the Committee: a nomination petition, the applicant’s biographical data, information on their activities during the year preceding the nomination, details of their contribution to the development of civil society institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan, and a description of implemented projects and initiatives along with supplementary materials demonstrating the achieved social impact.
