February 19, 2014 years at the Institute for the development of education of the Republic of Tatarstan, a meeting of the public Council under the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Tatarstan on realization of the State program "preservation, study and development of the official languages of the Republic of Tatarstan and other languages in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020, which was addressed by the first Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan S. Stolyarov.
In his speech, S. Stolyarov, noted that one of the objectives of the programme is to create the conditions for the functioning of the Russian and Tatar languages as official languages of the Republic of Tatarstan. The directions provided to create conditions for the realization of the right of citizens to receive legal aid in the Tatar language, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan is the main performer of the event.
It is expressed in the legal awareness and legal education of citizens in the Tatar language, i.e., a direct provision of free legal assistance in the Tatar language, either with the assistance of an interpreter.
Free legal assistance could be provided in the form of legal advice in both oral and written forms, applications, claims, petitions in the Tatar language and other legal documents, representing the interests of citizens in the courts, State and municipal bodies, organizations.
General information on the population of legal aid in the Tatar language posted on the Internet site of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, in the case of specific activities will be updated with date, time and venue.
Thus, the citizen who applies for legal aid, will be given the opportunity to obtain it in the Tatar language.
The Social Council, having taken note of the information provided by S. Stolyarov, took the decision after 3 months to hear the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan on the implementation of the above-mentioned measures.
