June 27, 2014 under the project of the Association of Lawyers of Russia to provide free legal assistance to the population in the Republic of Tatarstan the another day for free legal aid has passed.
Tatarstan regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia together with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tatarstan branch of the party "United Russia" organized the reception of citizens in 56 different points. Public reception, as well as Russian President Reception in the Republic of Tatarstan, regional public reception of Chairman of the party "United Russia" and the centers of free legal assistance to the population of the Tatarstan regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia worked on base of local offices of the party “United Russia” in each municipal district.
Reception of citizens held in the mode of the open day from 9.00 to 17.00. (in rural areas - from 8.00 to 16.00 hrs.) without breaks, consultants working by turns.
The media covered the organization and carrying out the Day of free legal assistance.
Notaries, lawyers, prosecutors of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, of the Office of the Ministry of Justice in the Republic of Tatarstan, the members of the Association of Lawyers of Russia participated in this event.
Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Y.Gluhova, the Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan I.S.Nafikov, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan M.M. Ibyatov and Deputy Head of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan M.V.Skirda provided citizens with free legal assistance in the waiting room of the President of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan. They provided the legal assistance to 27 citizens.
According to the results this day 537 people in Tatarstan received a legal assistance, of which 91 people are received it in Kazan.
Most visited public receptions were in Almetyevsk and Yelabuga: 33 and 45 were served there respectively.
According to statistics the most active group of the population, applying for legal aid, were people of retirement age. The most common issues with which the population is drawn to the lawyers are traditionally hereditary, housing, social security, consumer protection, land and legal proceedings.
