Meeting of the Council for the Coordination of activities mediators the Republic of Tatarstan

September 18, 2014 a regular meeting of the Council of Mediator’s Coordination of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is chaired by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Yu.Gluhova, took place at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan R.I.Zagidullin; Deputy Minister of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan F.S.Musin; judge of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan L.V.Andriyanova; Chairman of the Soviet District Court of Kazan R.G.Gabdullin; Head of the Center of mediation, conflict resolution and prevention of extremism of the Institute of Continuing Education, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University O.V.Mavrin; Head of Legal Services at the Institute of Economics, Management and Law, Director of the center of the Volga legal reconciliation N.V.Babkin; Director - Scientific Consultant scientific and methodological center "Mediation and Law" non-governmental organisation "Center for Continuing Professional Education and Certification "Regional Development Agency Qualifications" G.A.Homyakov; Director of Center of insurance mediation M.S.Davletshin; executive director of the League of mediators in the Volga region V.A.Filaretov, the representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan, Commerce - Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The experience of implementing mediation procedures by Center of mediation, regulation of conflicts and prevention of extremism by Institute of Continuing Education, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, experience in resolving disputes in the insurance sector by Insurance Mediation Center, including the problem of introducing mediation procedure at bringing the parties to reconciliation in insurance cases, the work of "Reconciliation rooms" in the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, the issues of improving the work of the Council – these questions were discussed at the Council meeting.

A constructive dialogue to continue the implementation of the mediation process in the Republic of Tatarstan emerged between members and invited persons. The proposals for improving the activity of mediators in the Republic of Tatarstan was made on the ground of the meeting.

One of these proposals is to consider the possibility of holding a round table in video regime with the subjects of Russian Federation (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Voronezh), where also has a positive experience of the introduction of alternative dispute resolution procedures with the participation as a mediator independent person - the mediator (mediation procedure) can be found. The participants of round table will have the opportunity to share effective work in this area.
