The Day of national unity

On 4th of November, 2015 at the millennium Square in Kazan employees of the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the rally-concert dedicated to the Day of national unity. This holiday symbolizes the idea of national harmony and social cohesion. It is intended to remind you that we are all citizens of Russia, people of different ages and nationalities, beliefs and religions are one people with a common past and a common future.

For the republic this holiday has a special meaning, because Tatarstan is one of the most ethnically diverse areas in Russia. According to the Russian population census 2010, representatives of more than 173 nationalities live in the republic.

Popular unity was, is and will be an important pillar of the multinational state.
