The results of the work of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2020 were summed up by the Minister of Justice Rustem Zagidullin at a meeting of the board held today with the participation of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Rustam Nigmatullin.
In his speech, the Minister noted that the year 2020 and the pandemic affected the work of the whole system of public administration, including the Ministry. In addition to creating a secure online system in operation, the Ministry was directly involved in the formation of a regulatory framework aimed at countering the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
In addition, compared to 2019, the number of citizens appeals increased by 135%, most of which were related to COVID-19. Since the 30-day review period in this case was unacceptable, it was decided to categorize the appeals and the average response time was 7 days, 59 responses were given within a day.
Despite the pandemic, the main powers were implemented in the normal mode. Work continues in the direction of normative activity, as well as the implementation of the Government's legislative activity plan, which is fully implemented in 2020. Active work is being carried out in terms of ensuring the activities of magistrates and interaction with local self-government bodies on legal issues.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Council of judges of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Gafarov made a speach on the work of magistrates of the Republic in 2020, and Chairman of the State Council of RT on law and order Shakir Yagudin, who spoke about the interaction of RT State Council and the Ministry of justice.
In order to ensure compliance with anti-epidemic security measures, the board meeting was held partially online. In the video-conference mode, Roza Galeeva spoke about the interaction of local self-government bodies of the Aznakaevsky district of the republic and the Ministry of Justice on the implementation of legislation on local self-government.
At the end of the meeting, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, Rustam Nigmatullin, made a positive assessment of the work of the Ministry in 2020.
The board outlined the priority tasks of the work for 2021, including the development of a chatbot "Free Legal Assistance", the organization of postal items in the form of an electronic document at the magistrates stations, etc.
