The Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin Prize is awarded to lawyers for scientific research in the field of jurisprudence. 7 applications were received for the Republican Award.

During the meeting, Justice Minister Rustem Zagidullin spoke about the work in the field of "jurisprudence", noting that work in the legal field is evaluated according to two criteria: scientific novelty and practical significance of scientific work in the field of jurisprudence.

Voting for the winners of the Republican Prize is conducted in secret.
