Participation of the Minister of Justice and the First Deputy Minister of Justice in the Community Forum
On August 24-25, the forum of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation "Community" started in Kazan, which was attended by Justice Minister Rustem Zagidullin and First Deputy Justice Minister Ainur Galimov. The Forum is a regional platform for discussing topical social problems at the federal level.
On the sectional platform of the forum "Free legal aid. Access for residents of Donbass and Russia" Ainur Galimov made a report. In his speech, he noted that in order to provide legal assistance to persons who were forced to leave the territories of Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR, an interdepartmental advisory group was formed on March 4, 2022. Initially, receptions were held daily, today as needed.
In addition, the First Deputy Minister stressed that the Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally a leader in the implementation of digital solutions. The Institute of Free Legal Aid is no exception. In 2019, the information system "Free legal Aid" was launched. The system is an information space that allows you to check online whether a citizen has a preferential category. Thus, when applying for help, there is no need for a citizen to confirm his status and provide additional documents.
