5 December 2022, Monday

On December 1, 2022, Federal Law No. 270-FZ of July 14, 2022 "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On Ensuring Access to Information on the Activities of State authorities and Local Self-Government authorities" and Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Ensuring Access to Information on the Activities of Courts in the Russian Federation" came into force.

The amendments clarified the procedure for providing access to information on the activities of organizations subordinate to state authorities and local self-government authorities.

It has been established, in particular, that subordinate organizations, by decision of state authorities, local self-government authorities under the jurisdiction of which such organizations are located, create official websites, with the exception of cases provided for by other federal laws. It may be envisaged to create a single portal, which hosts several official websites of state authorities, local self-government bodies and (or) subordinate organizations.

It is also established that state authorities, local self-government authorities and organizations subordinate to them create official pages for posting information about their activities on the Internet, where information is posted and provided, as well as interaction with users of information.

Official websites and official pages interact with the federal state information system "Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (functions)".

The list of information on the activities of subordinate organizations posted on their official websites is approved by state authorities, local self-government authorities under the jurisdiction of which such organizations are located.
