Rustem Zagidullin: «Despite all the difficulties, it is very significant that we do not forget to honor the memory of our great countrymen»
Today, on the 281st anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman and great Russian poet Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin, a number of festive events were held in Kazan and Laishevo.
The holiday began with the laying of flowers at the Derzhavin monument in the Lyadsky Garden of Kazan. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Yulia Adgamova, creative intelligentsia, and the general public.
Rustem Zagidullin noted that events dedicated to the celebration of the birthday of Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin are organized in Tatarstan with special trepidation and deep respect.
«In addition, scientific and creative projects aimed at popularizing Derzhavin's name and his legacy are being implemented throughout the year. The main meanings in Gavriil Romanovich's value system were patriotism, service to the state and the law. We see that these values have not lost their relevance today», - the minister added.
Later, the laureates of the G.R. Derzhavin Republican Prize in the field of jurisprudence were awarded in the homeland of Gabriel Derzhavin, in Laishevo. This year, the winner of the award was Ildar Rustamovich Begishev, a representative of the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, for the monograph «Criminal law regulation of robotics». The winner was awarded by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin.
The monograph examines the issues of the formation of criminal liability for socially dangerous acts committed during the development, production and use of robots, as well as for acts in which a robot is used as a means of committing a crime.
