Mukharryam Ibyatov: «Tatarstan municipalities are trying to provide all possible support to the fighters and their relatives»
On behalf of the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, today all state and municipal authorities of the republic are focused on providing maximum assistance to participants in the special military operation and their family members. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Mukharryam Ibyatov during the program «Yanalaklar» on the TV channel Russia 1. Tatarstan.
«Tatarstan provides all support measures established by legal acts of the federal and regional levels. Authorities interact with each other to provide targeted measures. They are not a single package for everyone, but vary».
The Deputy Minister spoke in more detail about the assistance provided in the municipalities of the republic. According to him, all support measures are supported by legal acts. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan keeps records of such acts, provides legal assistance in their development and making the necessary changes to existing documents.
«Considering the lack of legal personnel in a number of districts, we are systematically approaching the issue of developing, systematizing and ensuring that municipal acts comply with legislation. As of July 1 of this year, the municipal register included information on 2,892 support measures of 16 types», - he added.
The support measures provided to SMO participants and their families cover a wide range of benefits and financial assistance: material support, benefits for paying for housing and communal services and transport, social services, exemption from paying self-taxation of citizens, and others.
In particular, in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and municipal districts of the republic, children of SMO participants receive free hot meals in municipal educational institutions.
In 538 settlements of the republic, decisions were made to exempt SMO participants and their family members from paying land tax and property tax for individuals. For example, in Aktanyshsky, Apastovsky, Bugulminsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Laishevsky, Novosheshminsky districts.
Since 2022, by decisions of citizens' assemblies, participants of the SMO and their family members are exempt from paying self-taxation funds. Mukharryam Ibyatov recalled that there are 3,118 settlements in the municipal districts of our republic. In 1,829 of them, or 59%, such decisions of citizens' assemblies have been made.
In Kazan, Agryzsky, Atninsky, Zainsky, Kaibitsky, Kukmorsky, Mamadyshsky, Menzelinsky, Sarmanovsky, Tukaevsky districts, 9 types of measures are provided: exemption from rent payments, free visits to municipal institutions, exemption from paying parental fees in school day camps, priority purchase of vouchers to camps, and others.
«There are many examples. As I already said, we have 16 types of support implemented in the districts. A lot of work is being done», - the deputy minister emphasized.
