The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in Sabantui celebrations in St. Petersburg! Sabantuy is a traditional holiday celebrated not only in Tatarstan, but also far beyond the borders of the Republic, uniting peoples and contributing to the strengthening of intercultural understanding and friendship.

The final, fourth zonal meeting on topical issues of local self-government at the settlement level was held in the village of Staroye Drozhzhzhanoye. The event concluded a series of seminars for municipal servants, which were held in the Chistopol, Mamadysh, Sarmanovsky and Drozhzhzhanovsky districts over the past two weeks.

117 servicemen were provided with free legal assistance in the first quarter of the current year. The State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan continues to actively cooperate with the republican branch of the «Defenders of the Fatherland» foundation.

By the end of the first quarter of the current year, 12 items out of 20 planned measures of the program «Implementation of anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan», approved by the government of the republic, have already been successfully implemented. These and other issues were the subject of discussion at the meeting of the head of one of the departments of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan Yaroslav Shvets with law students of Kazan Federal University.

Kazan hosted one of the most spectacular sporting events of the year, the Corporate Cross-Country Race, which brought together dozens of teams from enterprises and organizations of the republic. Among the participants was a united team of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan, which for the third year in a row honorably represented the Ministry at this sporting event.

The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan draws the attention of the residents of the republic to the need to comply with the Rules of improvement approved and in force in all urban and rural settlements. These rules establish requirements for the maintenance of buildings, structures and adjacent territories, as well as the appearance of facades and fences.

5680 municipal acts were checked for corruption factors by employees of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan in the first quarter of 2025 under the state program «Implementation of anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan». This was reported at the training seminar «Anti-corruption expertise and independent anti-corruption expertise of normative legal acts and their projects».

Information about 2,712 support measures provided to participants of the special military operation and their family members is included in the municipal register. These include free hot meals for children in municipal educational institutions, free public transportation, exemption from land tax and personal property tax, and others. A total of 16 types of benefits and support measures are envisaged. Mukharryam Ibyatov, deputy minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, told about it in an interview on radio Tatarstan.
