The final volleyball competition of the Spartakiad of civil servants of the Republic of Tatarstan took place in Kazan. The Spartakiad, which took place over several months, brought together representatives of the republic's public authorities in competitions in nine sports disciplines: skiing, chess, volleyball, athletics, swimming, mini-football, table tennis, badminton and basketball.

On the eve of the International Anti-Corruption Day, which is celebrated annually on december 9, the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a large-scale flashmob «Ministry of justice against corruption».

Deputy minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Nizamiev took part in the interregional forum «History and prospects of development of world justice in the Kirov region». The event was organized by the Ministry of justice of the Kirov region as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of world justice.

Carefully planned fire drills took place in the building of the judicial precincts of the magistrates of the Arsky district, which unfolded in conditions as close as possible to a real emergency situation. The event was organized jointly by the Ministry of justice of the Republic and the Main directorate of the FSSP of Tatarstan with the involvement of several emergency services.

A meeting of the working group of the Interdepartmental coordinating committee on legal issues was held at the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan. The key topic of discussion was the initiative to revise the upper limit of the amount of administrative fines imposed on citizens for offenses provided for by regional laws. During the meeting, it was noted that the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg is already preparing a corresponding draft federal law aimed at increasing the maximum amount of monetary penalties for violators.

In preparation for the XX congress of the Association «Council of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan», an online conference was held, in which the minister of justice of the Republic Rustem Zagidullin co-moderated. The main topic of discussion was the implementation of the Federal law on the general principles of organizing local self-government in a unified system of public authority.

The Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a seminar-meeting on the issue of rulemaking in the implementation of a legislative initiative on the territorial organization of municipalities, in terms of the procedure for the abolition of settlements.

A solemn ceremony of awarding the Highest law award «Lawyer of the year» and the All-Russian law award named after G.F. Shershenevich took place in Kazan. The «Lawyer of the year» award is awarded annually as part of the celebration of Lawyer's Day and recognizes the merits of lawyers to society and the state.
