The name of the winner of the Republican Prize named after G.R. Derzhavin in 2024 became known

At a meeting of the Committee on the Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin Republican Prize, the work of applicants for the award in 2024 was discussed. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva. This year, works in the field of jurisprudence were accepted for the competition.

During the meeting, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin said that in accordance with the Regulations, the works submitted for the competition must be published within the last five years, but no later than one year before submission to the competition.

The Chairman of the Committee, Leyla Fazleeva, in turn, noted that due to the reduction in the number of applicants for the Award in recent years, there is a need to revise the regulations on the competition, including criteria for participants and works, in order to attract more participants in the future.

This year, five monographs applied for the award: «Administrative activities of the Federal Bailiff Service of the Russian Federation within the framework of reforms» by Gulnara Nafikova and Svetlana Alamova; «Corruption crimes in agglomerations: the concept, features of prevention» by Denis Akhunov; «Criminal law regulation of robotics» by Ildar Begishev; «Legal regulation and organization of penitentiary activities systems of the Russian Empire (on the example of the Kazan province)» by Victoria Kazachenok; «Regulation of contractual legal relations» by Ruslan Farkhutdinov.

«The decision to award the prize is made at a meeting by secret ballot, the members of the Committee evaluate the work according to two criteria: scientific and practical significance of the work, on a scale from 0 to 10 points for each of these criteria. Based on the results of the assessments, the winner is determined», - the minister explained.

By the decision of the Committee of the Republican Prize named after G.R. Derzhavin, according to the results of counting all votes, the winner was the representative of the Kazan Innovative University named V.G. Timiryasov, Ildar Rustamovich Begishev, the study «Criminal law regulation of robotics».

The awarding of the winner and the presentation of the republican prize will take place on July 14 in Laishevsky district on the birthday of the poet, as well as the first Minister of Justice of the Russian Empire, Prosecutor General Gavriil Derzhavin.
