On November 21-22, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan held a two-day internship for state civil servants and municipal employees under the program «Anti-corruption expertise of regulatory legal acts. Development of draft regulatory legal acts».
A working meeting dedicated to the exchange of experience in implementing state policy in the field of providing citizens with free legal assistance was held via videoconference under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Justice. The discussion focused on issues of legal information, legal education of the population and the development of a non-governmental system of free legal assistance.
In the program «Novoye Utro» on the TV channel «Efir», the First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilya Gomzik spoke about the new service «Free legal assistance», available in the application «Resident card of the Republic of Tatarstan».
On November 20-21, 2024, members of the working group of the Government Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan on Crime Prevention conducted an on-site inspection in the Laishevsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan to study the organization of work in this area.
Over the first ten months of 2024, almost 500 participants in the special military operation and their family members in Tatarstan applied for free legal assistance. This became known at the All-Russian conference on the provision of free legal assistance to participants in the special military operation, organized with the participation of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

Since September 1, «Free Legal Assistance» service has been available in Tatarstan through the mobile application «Resident Card of the Republic of Tatarstan». This innovation significantly simplifies the process of obtaining legal assistance for residents of the republic.
